Sweets & Likes

The canadians wanted to try a cruffin so that’s what we did the day after christmas. Went to mr. holmes bakehouse. Planned to get there by 7:30am to line up since the shop opened at 8am. We got there a little before 8am and found out that yes, the shop opens at 8am but they don’t start selling cruffins until 9am. We ended up being like the 6th person in line.

Taking in Nature on Xmas

Okay, so one of my goals for the new year is to build better habits. (I’m just drowning in my sea of bad habits right now) One habit I would really like to improve/work on is my issue with commitment. I always try to find a way to steer clear of anything that will tie me down. The feeling that I have to do something is such a heavy weight. I’m a fuck-it type of person though I have to say, this type of lifestyle doesn’t work too well lol.

Anyways, the point is, I’m going to try to have a post up everyday in the month of January. I have a few more posts I’ve planned out from my outings over the holidays but once I’ve exhausted those, I’m gonna be in trouble.

A Year in Review – 2015

Happy New Year friends!

Wow, just the other day as I was signing and dating my offer letter, I was about to put 2014. We are done with 2015 and I’m still stuck in 2014 lol. Just where did this year go?

Anyways, this year has been amazing; it was full of new adventures, experiences, and traveling. Lots and lots of traveling. I think I traveled somewhere at least once every other month? Haha, I loved it!

Highlights of the year

  • Places I traveled to this year: Toronto, Edmonton, Atlanta, Cleveland, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong (twice!), and Seoul. Except for Seoul and Toronto, everywhere else was my first time!
  • Quitting my stressful and exhausting admin job
  • Paid off my all my credit card debt
  • Attending EXO’luXion concerts in Hong Kong with special acknowledgement from Yixing to Viv and I. o(≧∇≦o)
  • Attending Yixing’s birthday fanmeet in Shanghai! ♥
  • Bleaching my hair for the first time and dying it pink/orange
  • Cleared up my acne (finally!)
  • Reuniting with my best friend
  • Getting a new job that suits my personality

Quitting my job back in June and just lazing around until November was nice. It made me realize I just really love being at home. Hopefully in the future, I’ll be able to build some sort of career that will allow me to work from home. But for now, I’m pretty content with where I am.

Not so much into KPOP as I am into Zhang Yixing. I’ve taken my fangirling to a new level this year lol. But whatevers, he is probably the last idol/celebrity I will ever bias in my life. There will be no more after him. Seriously, I am getting too old for this.

New interests this year includes beauty subscription boxes and mainland china entertainment. Been taking a lot of photos too. I will forever be a casual photo-enthusiastic.

For 2016, I’m looking forward to paying off my student loans and improving my Chinese and Korean. Hoping to add Europe to the list of places I’ve traveled to next year. Also, flying Singapore Air’s first-class suites is a goal too. Oh and finally, save! If anything, this is the most important goal for me hehe.

Fare thee well 2015 and hello 2016. May you be filled with sweet tastes~

The End of a Beautiful Dream;

Wow, I can’t believe it’s the end already. These past few days has been crazy trying to do finals, pack, get souvenirs, hanging out with people, and tying up loose ends. These were all stuff I was telling myself to do early on but surprise surprise, I didn’t do it till the very very last minute. Typical. But it’s finally over and here I am, spending my last hour in Korea in a Charlie Brown Cafe inside the airport.

I’ve always wanted to go to South Korea and now that I’ve done it, I feel oddly accomplished. These past 10 months has been nothing but amazing. I met a lot of people, learned a lot, and did a lot of things I normally wouldn’t do back home. I got to see my favorite idol regularly and lived the life of a Korean fangirl. (Zhang Yixing is real and gorgeous and I saw with my own eyes what an angel he is.) It was crazy as hell and I thought I was going to go insane but if I had to redo it all, I wouldn’t change a thing ♥ I’m really thankful and happy to have met everyone I did during my stay in Korea because you guys made my experience that much more interesting. Thank you for all the precious memories. I hope we will keep in touch~

(I am so behind on pictures posts though so I’ll be trying to play catch up in the next few weeks~Please anticipate them~! ^^)

Happy Birthday~

I think it’s time I learn how to use manual mode and see if it works better for me. I don’t understand why my shutter doesn’t shoot as fast when the settings are the exact same as the kid next to me ;_; It’s starting to grate on my nerves (;¬_¬)

Anyways, I ended up sleeping the whole day away after staying up all night. It was nice~ Can’t remember the last time I slept 12+ hours haha. Today was a good day (or morning). Despite having the prime spot, I couldn’t get any good pictures. But I did manage to give Yixing my letter and to be honest, that’s all that really mattered to me. ^~^ I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to catch him or that he wouldn’t accept it. Thankfully he doesn’t usually have that many fans surrounding him and he didn’t come out with Kris or Luhan lol you do not know how relieved I am when I saw him walking out last.

Still melting when I think about that moment he took my letter. I’m such a sap. ♥ Happy birthday indeed~ o(≧▽≦)o
